The club was formed in early 1973, with the aim of fostering an interest in railways and railway modelling.
Membership of the club is open to anyone with an interest in the aims of the club and currently stands at between 25 and 30.
The club is affiliated to the Fordhouses and Oxley Community Association and is a member of the Chiltern Model Railway Association.

This is available for the exclusive use of Club members and is usually open Tuesday and Thursday evenings between 8.00pm - 10.00pm. The clubroom is also open on occasional weekdays and Saturdays for operator training and running sessions.

We hold an annual model railway exhibition at Pendeford Business and Enterprise College on the first weekend of November, featuring both our own and visiting layouts and displays as well as demonstrations and trade stands.

Membership runs from 1st September each year but new memberships will be charged on a pro rata basis.
